Annual Sports Day Celebrations 2024-25

On the day 16th November 2024, MSV Public School hosted its Annual Sports Meet with great enthusiasm and excitement.
The theme of the Sports Day was “Healthy Body – Healthy Mind”, focusing on fitness, teamwork and sportsmanship.
The Sub Inspector of Police, Sri Krishnappa Town Police Station, Doddaballapur was the chief guest of the event and Sri Sanjeev Kumar Singh, the Branch Manager, Union Bank of India, Doddaballapur was the Guest of Honor.

Students of various classes participated in the sports day. Before the events of the day began, the dignitary unfurled the School Sports Flag. The program began at 9:30 a.m. followed by fanfare, with an inaugural address and by releasing a flock of pigeons into the sky. The Sports Day started with the march past of the four different houses. After the march past, beautiful dances were performed by the cheer girls of four houses.

The Chief guest, Sri Krishnappa, declared the sports meet open and encouraged students to embrace the spirit of competition and fair play.
The chief guest Mr. Krishnappa addressed the children and explained the importance of Sports. Physical fitness is very important for good mental health. Physical activities are rejuvenating for mentally debilitated beings. Along with academics, sports also play an important role in child’s overall development. Participation in learning and sports should be supported. The important role of the teacher is to sense the sports interest in the children, identify such talents, conduct sports events at the school level and lay a solid foundation for them to be recognized at the state and national level. He said that there is a lot of opportunity to get good posts even from sports reservation.
The guest of honor Mr. Sanjeev Kumar Singh, “reminisced his school days with today’s sports event. Discipline grows out of sports. Addressing the children, he said that sports help strengthen friendship among children and every child becomes physically and mentally strong when they engage in sports.
A wide range of sports events were conducted for both girls and boys across various age groups.
The students showcased incredible talent and enthusiasm throughout the day, competing in relays and field events.
School Secretary Mr. A. Subramanya, Secretary Mrs. Manjula Subramanya, School Vice Chairman Mr. Swaroop, Trustee Mrs. Nayana Swaroop, Principal Mrs. Remya B.V., Vice Principal Mrs. Pratima Pai were also among the dignitaries to witness the program.
The programme concluded with national anthem.
